Walt's headshot Torinn's headshot

Walt

Also known as Torinn Dragonslayer, Bublé, CAT, Char, Grys, Silf, Walter the Barbeerian...

Likes Dual-wielding every character; Barbarians.
Dislikes Weekends without D&D.
Pros Always high energy; fast in combat.
Cons Always high energy; semi-alcoholic.

Our resident Barbarian and purveyor of bad puns (and portmanteaus). He is only here to be corrected on his heavily flawed knowledge of the game; without Walt, our popular Correction of the Week segments would be over very quickly.

Soon to be wifeless and jobless, he dedicates his most important hours of every week to D&D, and still hasn't become any better at character voices. Rage and hit stuff is the go-to. It's not a usual Sunday session without Walt convincing Heds to drink several more beers than is strictly advisable, resulting in one of them doing something stupid and/or dangerous to the party. We only pray that it ends up making good podcast material.

Being the extrovert of the group, he wants to play every session for eight hours and play at least three times a week. It's exhausting to hang out with him.

Heds's headshot Aelar's headshot

Heds

Also known as Harry Helmswright, Nicolas, Flo, Aelar, Vincent the Ox, Cryovain, Halia Thornton and many other traumatising aliases. And let us not forget Crabby the Aussie bogan crab...

Likes Good microphone etiquette; rules.
Dislikes The lack of a gaming room or recording studio.
Pros Is always right.
Cons Always thinks he's right.

The pastor of pizza–podcast Thursdays. The man who brought us all together, the Master of Dungeon Mastery and the tech to go with it. Varied accents, sound effects, mood lighting, amazing handcrafted terrain, his games have it all. Heds has supplied us with laughter and tears, epic combats and intense roleplay. If you had one day to live, you wouldn't look past him to GM your ultimate game.

Is there a rule Heds doesn’t know? This man has studied the game inside and backwards and is just waiting for his chance to TPK us so he can retire from his 5e campaign to the peaceful life of Pathfinder. Just don't touch the microphone cords or come anywhere near one of his recordings with your loud breathing, or you will feel his wrath.

Elly's headshot Delilah's headshot

Elly

Also known as Lila, Flora, Fenula, Delilah, Nellie the Kenku, Jojo the shit-stirrer, Lorelei Nightingale, Mr Fashion...

Likes PC names that include the letter L; animal familiars.
Dislikes Melee classes; the suggestion that Heds knows more about D&D rules than she does.
Pros Amazing mini painter; kind of good at everything, now that I think about it.
Cons Won't share her Sprite Zero; hasn't provided Heds with a dedicated gaming room or recording studio.

Does not min–max, don't make me repeat it. Elly is the queen of character creation. This multiclass lass can create the most amazing and creative (not to mention powerful) combos with the roleplay to go with it. Her character voices are second to none, and she always throws in a hilarious oddball or two when she GMs, just to keep us laughing. She really makes characters come alive and embodies them during RP.

This creative genius also makes the best one-shots ever, even if they have a tendency to last upwards of eight hours or simply become three-shots. These have ranged from heists and jungle diving to terrible hangovers. Just don't get on Jojo's bad side.

Lars's headshot Kurt's headshot

Lars

Also known as Righur (RIP), Mal (of Mal's Henchmen), Aurie, the wretched Malena (may her soul be forever cursed), Tayland (of Tayland's Problem Solvers)...

Likes Lore, lore and more lore.
Dislikes Animal familiars.
Pros Can't roll dice to save himself while GMing; most generous GM ever.
Cons Can't roll dice to save himself while playing.

No man has mastered the Russian Bond villain and British aristocrat voices like Lars has. He has also lost the trust of his players forever from NPC betrayal early on in his campaign. We will never trust again.

Lars has dived deep into D&D and seems to have every sourcebook and resource available. His worldbuilding and backstories have immersed us in his campaigns and one-shots, and we can't wait to solve some more problems for Sir Tayland in the future. Every name has a hidden meaning, probably based on an amalgamation of an ancient Nordic myth and an obscure fantasy reference.

If only he could roll dice. Eternally cursed to roll nothing higher than an eight when it matters, we love playing against his masterful creations in combat—it makes us feel immortal.

Fred's headshot

Korey (RIP)

Also known as Fredmir Flintstone, Kozaurus Wrecks...

Likes Maple Cyric; Duma-loincloths.
Dislikes Us, I guess?
Pros Hilarious and offensive jokes; great pod chat.
Cons He left us too soon.

One of the pod's founding members, and a listener favourite. Come back to us.
